Il “Passamano per San Luca” a Bologna (Italia) tra rievocazione storica e didattica

The aim of the following article is to illustrate the historical re-enactment «Passamano per San Luca» held in the city of Bologna (Italy) for sixteen years. It, organized and promoted by the International Center for Didactics of History and Heritage (DiPaSt) of the University of Bologna with the active participation of a large number of students of all levels in the city and its province, remembers an event happened on October 17th 1677: it was necessary to build a portico that connected the city to the sanctuary of the Madonna of San Luca and the only way to transport the construction materials was to pass them from hand to hand creating a human chain. Evoking that gesture of civic solidarity today means for the schools to assume a sense of responsibility towards the monument, stimulating his knowledge, protection and valorisation. In this way, the entire city community is involved in safeguarding the monument and the same citizenship.

L’articolo illustra l’esperienza della rievocazione storica denominata «Passamano per San Luca», che si svolge a Bologna (Italia) da sedici anni. Essa, organizzata e promossa dal Centro Internazionale di Didattica della Storia e del Patrimonio (DiPaSt) dell’Università di Bologna con la partecipazione attiva di un grande numero di studentesse e studenti di ogni ordine e grado della città e della sua provincia, ricorda un avvenimento accaduto il 17 ottobre 1677: era necessario costruire un portico che collegasse la città al santuario della Madonna di San Luca e l’unico modo per trasportare i materiali costruzione era passarsele di mano in mano creando una catena umana. Rievocare oggi quel gesto di solidarietà civica significa da parte delle scuole assumere un senso di responsabilità verso il bene, stimolando la sua conoscenza, tutela e valorizzazione. In questo modo, tutta la comunità cittadina viene coinvolta nella salvaguardia del bene e nella custodia della stessa cittadinanza.
