The present paper reports about a study on the reactivity of Keggin-type P/Mo/V polyoxometalates (POMs) in the oxidation of cyclohexanone to adipic acid with oxygen, in order to find out how the reactivity performance is affected by the POM composition and by reaction conditions. Keggin-type POMs were prepared according to the methods described in the literature. Catalysts prepared were characterized by means of FT-IR spectroscopy.
