The deposition of Rh, Mg, Al hydrotalcite like compounds over FeCrAlloy foams was performed by a novel electrodeposition method. After calcination, structured rhodium-based catalysts, active in the catalytic partial oxidation of natural gas, were obtained. The influence of the applied potential (-1.2 V and -1.3 V vs SCE) on the final properties of catalysts was studied. The increase of the applied potential yielded to a well distributed coating, and the catalyst showed higher methane conversion and syngas selectivity.

Abstract
The deposition of Rh, Mg, Al hydrotalcite like compounds over FeCrAlloy foams was performed by a novel electrodeposition method. After calcination, structured rhodium-based catalysts, active in the catalytic partial oxidation of natural gas, were obtained. The influence of the applied potential (-1.2 V and -1.3 V vs SCE) on the final properties of catalysts was studied. The increase of the applied potential yielded to a well distributed coating, and the catalyst showed higher methane conversion and syngas selectivity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
