The article is based on three different ethnographic researches (2012; 2014 - 2017; 2017-ongoing) and it focuses on the reproductive pathways of Italian cross-border patients. Using the concept of narrative by Edward M. Bruner and the “single story” of Nogozi Chimamanda Adichie, it will show how stories shared by patients model the reality and influence choices, practices and paths of future patients.
