This paper describes a study of the environmental impact assessment related with wood chips production, through a Life Cycle Assessment carried out using a detailed LCA software (Simapro6.0). Each step is described with reference to row of woodchips and three distances of distribution are compared. The environmental impacts are analyzedEcoindicator99, Cumulative Energy Demand and EDIP/UMIP96.
