The author, editor in chief of the magazine "Quaderni di Teatro Carcere" (Theatre in Prison Notebook) and scientific consultant for The Theatre-in-Proson Network Emilia Romagna, presents a critical analysis of the different activities realized during the triennial project “The Patafisics” in the prisons of Emilia Romagna Region by the directors of the Theatre in Prison Network.. At the conclusion of the project, the essay aims to verify which real interactions Jarry’s universe has revealed between the condition and the social image of the inmates and the differing and “wrong” approach of the patascience, how the conceptual preconditions of the project have been developed in the artistic outcomes, and which additional perspectives and reflexes the additional universe of patascience has opened in the context of theatre in prison and in its possibilities.
L’autrice, direttrice responsabile della rivista "Quaderni di teatro Carcere" e consulente scientifico del Coordinamento Teatro Carcere Emilia Romagna, presenta un’analisi critica dei diversi percorsi realizzati nell’ambito del progetto triennale “Le Patafisiche” negli istituti di pena dell’Emilia Romagna dai registi del Coordinamento Teatro Carcere. A conclusione del progetto, il contributo si propone di verificare quali effettive interazioni l’universo di Jarry abbia rivelato fra la condizione e l’immagine sociale dei detenuti e l’approccio divergente e “scorretto” della patascienza, in che modo le premesse concettuali del progetto abbiano trovato sviluppo nei risultati artistici, e quali ulteriori prospettive, riflessi, scandagli l’universo supplementare della patascienza abbia aperto nel territorio del teatro in carcere e delle sue possibilità.
