Curation, its practice and feasibility have been carried out in different areas of knowledge, including the arts, biology, communication, archivology, museology and library science, also covering the subject of Information Science as a whole. Since the term curation holds a certain dissonance between the aforementioned areas, we understand that a deeper analysis of its products and processes might bring a clarification of tendencies that lead to a better understanding of this subject. Regarding the issue of polysemy of the term, its scope and approaches, the following questions will be analyzed in depth in this research: a) Scope of the areas that traditionally carry out the curation; b) Typologies of curation (if any); c) Differences between filtered and authored curations; D) Differences between objective and subjective curations, e) Differences between automated, human and hybrid curations. It is hoped that this research will understand how the production about curation has been approached and distributed by researchers in our area, in publications that cover the three sister areas of Information Science: archivology, librarianship and museology.

Abstract
It is hoped that this research will understand how the production about curation has been approached and distributed by researchers in our area, in publications that cover the three sister areas of Information Science: archivology, librarianship and museology.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
