Gifted students need to be accurately considered in language teaching as they might show particular features that could enhance their language acquisition. This essay examines the main points about teaching English as a foreign language. In the following text, the gifted nature of students and some of its expressions are described, as well as difficulties that gifted students may have at school. The main principles of teaching English as a foreign language are then explained. In the last paragraph the main features of gifted students learning English are described as well as some suggestions to improve their strategies.
