With the aim of developing a new process for the synthesis of hexamethylene diamine, we studied the gas-phase ammoxidation of n-hexane to unsatured C6 1,6-dinitriles, possible intermediates for hydrogenation to hexamethylene diamine. Catalysts investigated were those that are also active and selective in the similar reaction of propane ammoxidation to acrylonitrile, rutile-type V/Sb and Sn/V/Sb mixed oxides and V/P mixed oxides.

Abstract
With the aim of developing a new process for the synthesis of hexamethylene diamine, we studied the gas-phase ammoxidation of n-hexane to unsatured C6 1,6-dinitriles, possible intermediates for hydrogenation to hexamethylene diamine. Catalysts investigated were those that are also active and selective in the similar reaction of propane ammoxidation to acrylonitrile, rutile-type V/Sb and Sn/V/Sb mixed oxides and V/P mixed oxides.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
