In this paper, the design of the new short low-density parity-check introduced in the upcoming version of DVB-RCS standard targeting interactive mobile services will be described. The codes performance evaluation on the additive white Gaussian noise sand on a mobile (Rice-distributed) fading channels will be carried out assuming QPSK, 8PSK, 16APSK, and 32APSK modulations.
