This paper highlights the still visible repercussions that the Civil War and the Francoist repression have left in Spanish society. The rights of the victims not yet recognised have created an unbalanced memory of silences and removals that still persists today. In spite of this, since the new century the veil of forgetfulness has begun to break thanks to numerous witnesses who have appeared on the public scene and have begun to tell the traumas they have experienced, creating a network of memory that has given life (along with extensive investigations by historians, journalists, reporters, etc.) to many social initiatives of information and civil engagement that have not, however, found correspondence in the courts of justice. Furthermore, emphasis is given to the still current phenomena of the many mass graves present throughout Spain and the theft of children still unsolved through the representation of concrete cases.

Abstract
Furthermore, emphasis is given to the still current phenomena of the many mass graves present throughout Spain and the theft of children still unsolved through the representation of concrete cases.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
