The Jewish anti-Christian polemical literature includes in its argu-ments the figure of Jesus. One of the main goals of this literature is to discredit certain attributes of Jesus of Nazareth, the Christian Messiah, which concern, for example, his Jewishness, his messiahship, and his divinity. The Jewish polemicists thus deconstruct the Christological figure and return an image of Jesus that needs to be considered for scholars both in the History of Christianity and History of Judaism. This paper wants to draw attention to the figure of Jesus that can be seen in the famous text of Isaac b. Abraham Troki, the Sefer Hizzuq Emunah, to consider the controversial deconstruction of the Christo-logical figure of Jesus from which is possible to see a particular type of historical construction. The reconstruction of the figure of Jesus is not the goal of this text, but it is an important and unique instrument that contributes decisively to controversial purposes of the work.

Abstract
The reconstruction of the figure of Jesus is not the goal of this text, but it is an important and unique instrument that contributes decisively to controversial purposes of the work.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
