Strumenti e risorse web per la comunicazione d’impresa bi- e plurilingue

Thanks to the technological developments of the last decades, an increasing number of ever more sophisticated and high-performing web resources and linguistic tools are available to private and public users, covering practically the whole range of LSP communication (wine-making, workplace health and safety, commercial law, mechanical engineering, archaeology, etc.). Without any doubt, the knowledge and skills required for their effective use play a growing strategic role in coping with bi- and plurilingual communication tasks and in enhancing domain-specific, target-oriented language learning and teaching. This paper provides an overview of bi- and plurilingual resources available and introduces the competences and strategies needed to use these effectively.
