This paper describes measurements and modelling of conducted emissions in the time and frequency domain to characterize the impact of typical DC/DC converters as found on DC grids for renewable generation. A small demonstration HVDC system with active DC/DC converters was built and measurements taken over a range of load and system voltages. These results were compared with simulation. Results demonstrate that converters operating under normal conditions should not exceed proposed emission standards for active power converters.

Abstract
This paper describes measurements and modelling of conducted emissions in the time and frequency domain to characterize the impact of typical DC/DC converters as found on DC grids for renewable generation. A small demonstration HVDC system with active DC/DC converters was built and measurements taken over a range of load and system voltages. These results were compared with simulation. Results demonstrate that converters operating under normal conditions should not exceed proposed emission standards for active power converters.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
