Background and aim: Transjugular intrahepatic porto-systemic shunt (TIPS) is a radiological procedure to treat complication of cirrhosis related to portal hypertension. Survival depends on the indication and the degree of liver dysfunction. Aim of this study is to review all cases of TIPS performed in our centre and to identify predictors of complications and survival.
