In this paper a resonant inductive wireless power transfer link using two relay resonators is analyzed. The network formalism is adopted to model the link and standard gain functions are used to describe the two-port network performance. The case where the load and the source are given and the goal is to find the optimal parameters of the link is solved. Analytical expressions are derived and validated through circuital simulations. It is demonstrated that by acting on the couplings of the relay elements with the transmitting and the receiving resonators it is possible to maximize all the three gains (power, available and transducer gains).

Abstract
In this paper a resonant inductive wireless power transfer link using two relay resonators is analyzed. The network formalism is adopted to model the link and standard gain functions are used to describe the two-port network performance. The case where the load and the source are given and the goal is to find the optimal parameters of the link is solved. Analytical expressions are derived and validated through circuital simulations. It is demonstrated that by acting on the couplings of the relay elements with the transmitting and the receiving resonators it is possible to maximize all the three gains (power, available and transducer gains).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
