This work is devoted to the analysis of impolite or aggressive political language strategies in some very popular Italian newspapers (Il Corriere della sera, La Repubblica, Il Giornale, Libero) during the last electoral campaign in March 2018. In the same period also the Russian elections were held, so we propose to compare shortly the linguistic strategies adopted for both issues in the Italian press.
