Ni containing hydrotalcite-like compounds (also called layer double hydroxides) were synthesized on the surface of FeCrAlY metal foams by electrochemical deposition. By optimizing the synthesis parameters (potential applied, deposition time) foam pellets covered by a thin a well adhesive thin film were obtained and high catalytic performances in the steam-reforming of methane were shown.

Abstract
