The aim of this work is to analyze the phenomenon of the implementation of forced sermons in Universitas hebreorum of Lugo. The news, which I have derived from the study of microfilm of miscella-neous documents of the eighteenth century from the ancient archives of the Jewish community in the city, now preserved at The Central Archivies for the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem, allow us to update the state of research and reveal interesting aspects about forced preaching to the Jews of Lugo in the eighteenth century. The author presents six papers, dating from September 5, 1766 to May 10, 1778.
