The work investigates the collections of objects and documents originating from both the production in the art system as well as from industrial production (here, design, graphic-advertising production, etc.), between their usage values and their exchange values. It studies the porous boundaries between the categories linked to the commodity function of industrial and artistic objects, their projection, their realization and the collection dynamics that the productive and realization modalities impose (between archives and museums) and the narratives of memory that are mainly through their exposure and mediation. Our proposal centralizes two models of memory, one linked to the museum and another to the archive. In the first case, we observe the functions of an institution that proposes a memory linked to the concept of monument. By contrast, the archive emerges as a new system of organization and communication of aesthetic production, in a relation different from the one already known, the place of administrative practices, as a series of changes invests languages, materials and modes of production of products linked to aesthetic discussions, facing which the museum system cannot always express in an effective way in the fulfillment of its purpose as guarantor of memory. The proposal of this work is due to the search for a reflection linked to the cultural memory, placing the search for the validity of its theoretical yearning in the realization in real informational spaces, in organizational choices and in good practices of mediation of informational and cultural contents.
