This chapter covers the following aspects of irrigation of greenhouse vegetable crops: • Water-use efficiency and water-saving strategies • Micro-irrigation • Irrigation scheduling • Water quality management Each section provides a critical overview of the principles, methods and tools used for vegetable crops in greenhouses, the main systems/components, the basic knowledge required for proper management and practical guidelines to deal with the most common issues faced by farmers.
