By discussing two pilot projects, in this contribution I consider the advantages of the approaches of World Literature and Cultural Memory Studies for research and teaching in a curriculum of Dutch Studies outside The Netherlands and Belgium. The importance of multi- and interdisciplinary crossovers appears vital in order to make this study program sustainable and to open new stimulating paths.
