The analysis of the textual tradition of the Slavic Gospels requires a thorough knowledge of Greek lectionaries textual history. It is well known that, already in the oldest sources (11th century), the Slavic tradition shows clear evidence of reciprocal influence between the liturgical version (i.e. Lectionaries) and the continuous text (i.e. Tetraevangelia), and the debate about which version has been translated first is far from being closed. Unfortunately, the lectionary text is almost ignored in critical editions of the Greek Gospels. The present survey analyzes 17 ‘textual nodes’ of the Gospel of John, i.e. segments of the text for which the variants of 126 Greek lectionaries from the 8th-11th century have been collected. This analysis aims to shed light on a scarcely studied aspect of Slavic textual history, thus completing the picture outlined in previous works of the author, which were focused on the relationship between the Slavic text and the tradition of Greek Tetraevangelia.

Abstract
This analysis aims to shed light on a scarcely studied aspect of Slavic textual history, thus completing the picture outlined in previous works of the author, which were focused on the relationship between the Slavic text and the tradition of Greek Tetraevangelia.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
