The contrast between simple past and present perfect tense is considered, with a greater or lesser extent, just from the earliest Spanish grammars for native speakers and, of course, it is also object of study also at Spanish grammars for foreign speakers. The present work wants to assemble the information offered by one (of two) Spanish grammar for Italian speakers of the eighteenth-century (the Gennaro Sisti’s work, 1742) and do it, both in terms of each individual tense and in terms of the contrast between them.

Abstract
The contrast between simple past and present perfect tense is considered, with a greater or lesser extent, just from the earliest Spanish grammars for native speakers and, of course, it is also object of study also at Spanish grammars for foreign speakers. The present work wants to assemble the information offered by one (of two) Spanish grammar for Italian speakers of the eighteenth-century (the Gennaro Sisti’s work, 1742) and do it, both in terms of each individual tense and in terms of the contrast between them.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
