Educating to rhythm and movement fosters the development of an initial form of exploitation of musical arts for preschool children. Three music teaching methods were developed in the 20th century, representing out points of reference: those of Émile Jaques-Dalcroze, Carl Orff and Laura Bassi. The common idea is that of children as active subjects in the connection between listening and making music.
