Paradigmi was founded in 1983 by a group of scholars, led by Giuseppe Semerari and Franco Bianco. Its second series is underway. The journal’s mission consists in a marked opening to the theoretical orientations and most innovative historiographic contributions of modern and contemporary philosophy. Open to the contribution of the various intellectual traditions, this journal is particularly interested in the relationship between philosophy, on the one hand, and sciences and social practices, on the other hand. The covered topics concern primarily new research trends (such as mind and language, neuroscience, cognitive sciences, and bioethics) and new philosophical styles: analytic philosophy, ontology, post-Husserlian phenomenology).
