Le fabbriche dei sogni (Dream Factories), curated by Alberto Alessi and designed by Spanish designer Martí Guixé, is the fourth exhibition of the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum in Milan. Alessi examines the phenomenon of Italian design factories through a display that familiarizes the public not only with the prod ucts of the companies, but also with their human background, their social role, and their business model (which has been celebrated by design historians as a distinctive factor in the “Italian style”).
