Ptolemy the Son has been much studied in the past. The problem of his identity has been considered as the most important aspect to investigate. This is true, but this article tries to focus more on another aspect which has been neglected: if there was a true coregency between Ptolemy II and the Son or what kind of coregency was, in comparison with other cases of the Diadochi and Epigones time. This is possible through a new exam of the main evidences (for example I. Milet 139) and the updating of its chronology, thanks to P. Sorb 3, 71.

Abstract
Ptolemy the Son has been much studied in the past. The problem of his identity has been considered as the most important aspect to investigate. This is true, but this article tries to focus more on another aspect which has been neglected: if there was a true coregency between Ptolemy II and the Son or what kind of coregency was, in comparison with other cases of the Diadochi and Epigones time. This is possible through a new exam of the main evidences (for example I. Milet 139) and the updating of its chronology, thanks to P. Sorb 3, 71.File in questo prodotto:
