Abstract
The LHCb detector, dedicated to precision measurements of CP violation and rare decays in the beauty sector at the Large Hadron Collidier at CERN (Geneva) is described, as it is assembled and commissioned for the LHC startup. The characteristics presented for the different detector components are those established from test beam measurements and simulation studies. The first p-p collisions will validate the overall expected behaviour and allow to establish the global reconstruction quality in view of the planned physics program of the experiment.File in questo prodotto:
