La legge 'Cirinnà' un anno dopo. Fatti, leggende e riflessioni

Until 2016, Italy was one of the few EU countries which had not yet a discipline on same-sex couples. Thanks to the so-called Cirinnà Law, now, in Italy gay and lesbian couples have a juridical and public recognition. The law concedes all the rights and duties of marriage except the mutual obligation of fidelity and the step-child adoption. These two rights were not included in the law because, otherwise, part of the Parliament would not vote it: it would be introduced gay marriage. But, is it true? Is it sufficient not to recognize the mutual fidelity and step-child adoption to avoid and to stop the transformations of marriage and family? Starting from these two false beliefs, the article tries to outline some reflections about the new families
