The paper presents one experiment of physical pushover carried out on a scale-down model masonry bridges. The geometry and the properties are fully described, as well as the loading tests performed on the original and on the FRP strengthened model. The cracking and collapse loads of the model are discussed at the light of a limit analysis interpretation of the observed behaviour. The presented analysis is able to point out the mechanisms involved in the resistance capacity to horizontal actions of masonry bridges with multiple arches.

Abstract
The paper presents one experiment of physical pushover carried out on a scale-down model masonry bridges. The geometry and the properties are fully described, as well as the loading tests performed on the original and on the FRP strengthened model. The cracking and collapse loads of the model are discussed at the light of a limit analysis interpretation of the observed behaviour. The presented analysis is able to point out the mechanisms involved in the resistance capacity to horizontal actions of masonry bridges with multiple arches.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
