Postural instability has a big impact on the quality of life of patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) as it often results in falling, subsequent injury, and increased fear of falling. The aim of the study is to evaluate how subjects with PD and elderly control maintain balance in challenging conditions, such as inclined posture like body leaning that occurs also during the transition from stance to gait.
