Microwave can ignite the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) in a 50/50 % Ni and Al Powder to produce NiAl coating on Ti and Carbon Steel. In this study, microwave heatig was used to extend the temporary presence of a molten intermetallic phase. This process allowed the formation of reaction layers belonging to the Ni-Al-Fe and Ni-Al-Ti system.

Abstract
Microwave can ignite the self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) in a 50/50 % Ni and Al Powder to produce NiAl coating on Ti and Carbon Steel. In this study, microwave heatig was used to extend the temporary presence of a molten intermetallic phase. This process allowed the formation of reaction layers belonging to the Ni-Al-Fe and Ni-Al-Ti system.File in questo prodotto:
