During the Timurid renaissance Samarkand became one of the main cultural centres of Central asia with organisation and possibility in economics, literature, and the science in the 15th and 16th centuries was beyond comparison even withthe level of contemprary Europe. The history of Samarkand was developed throughout many components and, certainly, the fundamental influence of Arabic culture, from which the deep knowledge of ancient tradition, expecially geography, mathematic, astronomy and Sciences in general, took on special significance.
