Le role des normes dans le cadre d’une sémiotique de la culture

I would like to focus my attention on a few points that I believe are crucial for framing the work of the semiotics of culture, trying to define what makes a difference to other approaches (for example, the socio-semiotics, the narrative semiotics, or all semiotics characterized by a precise object : the semiotics of art, literature, cinema etc ...). I want to clarify at once the central thesis of my brief contribution: namely, that the specificity of the semiotics of culture must be at the level of norms: not at the level of langue and not at the level of parole but rather to that of norms. I think that too often our semiotic activity has been a semiotics of langue or a semiotics of parole (or has tended to think itself as such). A work to be done, or to be developed, would be the questioning of the passage from one level to another, that is, the questioning of the passage from speech acts to the systems of the language.
