This paper deals with service behavior of Reinforced Concrete prestressed thin-walled beams in cracked condition. A non linear finite element model has been developed. A smeared crack model for concrete in tension is adopted. Load-deflection curves and cracking pattern evolution with loads increasing are determined. Contribution of steel bars in reducing deformation has been considered. As an example, a thinwalled girder with different levels of prestressing is considered.

Abstract
This paper deals with service behavior of Reinforced Concrete prestressed thin-walled beams in cracked condition. A non linear finite element model has been developed. A smeared crack model for concrete in tension is adopted. Load-deflection curves and cracking pattern evolution with loads increasing are determined. Contribution of steel bars in reducing deformation has been considered. As an example, a thinwalled girder with different levels of prestressing is considered.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
