The literature on the long-term behaviour of cracked FRC elements is still very limited. Some important parameters controlling the long-term behaviour, such as crack width, load level, and temperature, have been identified but their effect are not yet fully understood. Furthermore, at the present time there is not standard for creep tests of these materials. The paper presents some preliminary results, obtained from short- and long-term bending and uniaxial-tension tests on SFRC and MSFRC specimens, carried out at University of Bologna, Italy, in a Round Robin program promoted by RILEM TC 261-CCF. The paper also presents the experimental setups developed for the tests.

Abstract
The literature on the long-term behaviour of cracked FRC elements is still very limited. Some important parameters controlling the long-term behaviour, such as crack width, load level, and temperature, have been identified but their effect are not yet fully understood. Furthermore, at the present time there is not standard for creep tests of these materials. The paper presents some preliminary results, obtained from short- and long-term bending and uniaxial-tension tests on SFRC and MSFRC specimens, carried out at University of Bologna, Italy, in a Round Robin program promoted by RILEM TC 261-CCF. The paper also presents the experimental setups developed for the tests.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
