This article briefly describes the structure of the weighty corpus of ‘test passages’ developed at the Münster Institute for New Testament Textual Research and published in the series Text und Textwert der griechischen Handschriften des Neuen Testaments (Berlin-New York 1998-2005, taking into account the volumes concerning the Gospels). This method is mainly meant as a tool for the grouping of witnesses for the Editio Critica Maior of the Greek New Testament. In this article the author, who has already tested the efficacy of such a method for analysing the Slavic tradition in a number of studies, indicates the guidelines for the forthcoming edition of a slavic corpus, based on the same 467 ‘test passages’.

Abstract
This article briefly describes the structure of the weighty corpus of ‘test passages’ developed at the Münster Institute for New Testament Textual Research and published in the series Text und Textwert der griechischen Handschriften des Neuen Testaments (Berlin-New York 1998-2005, taking into account the volumes concerning the Gospels). This method is mainly meant as a tool for the grouping of witnesses for the Editio Critica Maior of the Greek New Testament. In this article the author, who has already tested the efficacy of such a method for analysing the Slavic tradition in a number of studies, indicates the guidelines for the forthcoming edition of a slavic corpus, based on the same 467 ‘test passages’.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
