The writings and personality of Poliziano a ect the French culture of the mid-16th century. To develop the teaching of Poliziano is a cul-tural context intended to claim, in a few decades, a leading role in the European cultural renewal, but still in phases of its building, investigates and recognizes, in the Italian Renaissance, inspiring motives and authoritative supports. A team of intellectuals trained by Jacques Lefèvre d’Etaples and the College Lemoine, introduce Poliziano’s thought in the French culture of the early 17th century, but it will be the following generation of humanists to su er its inuence. It is a composite group, which brings together the followers of Pierre de la Ramée, jurists, poets, members of the literary academies, grammarians, dialecticians and physicians linked to the Lullist magisterium of Bernardo de Lavinetha. The interest of the French humanism, characterized by a strong encyclopedic purpose, will be caught mainly by his three Praelectiones and, above all, by the Panepistemon.

Gli scritti e la personalità di Poliziano incidono sulla cultura francese della metà del XVI secolo. A sviluppare l'insegnamento del Poliziano è un contesto culturale destinato a rivendicare, in pochi decenni, un ruolo di primo piano nel rinnovamento culturale europeo, che, nelle fasi della sua costruzione, indaga e riconosce, nel Rinascimento italiano, motivi ispiratori e autorevoli appoggi. Sono intellettuali formati intorno all'insegnamento di Jacques Lefèvre d'Etaples e alle attività delCollege Lemoine, a introdurre il pensiero di Poliziano nella cultura francese del primo Seicento, ma sarà la successiva generazione di umanisti a subirne l'influenza. È un gruppo composito, che riunisce i seguaci di Pierre de la Ramée, giuristi, poeti, membri delle accademie letterarie, grammatici, dialettici e medici legati al magistero lullista di Bernardo de Lavinetha. L'interesse dell'umanesimo francese, caratterizzato da un forte intento enciclopedico, sarà catturato principalmente dalle tre Praelectiones e, soprattutto, dal Panepistemon.
