In Italy, the passion for football goes back a long way. Unfortunately, at the same time as a healthy sporting attitude was developing, organized violence, linked to various supporters' clubs, was also developing. Furthermore, the enormous media and legislative attention given to football also resulted in the emergence of serious breaches of public order connected with the results of national and international matches. To this end, the Italian parliament was forced to intervene on a number of occasions to punish and regulate the behaviour of supporters, sporting entities and clubs, indicating in detail the rules they were expected to follow.

Abstract
In Italy, the passion for football goes back a long way. Unfortunately, at the same time as a healthy sporting attitude was developing, organized violence, linked to various supporters' clubs, was also developing. Furthermore, the enormous media and legislative attention given to football also resulted in the emergence of serious breaches of public order connected with the results of national and international matches. To this end, the Italian parliament was forced to intervene on a number of occasions to punish and regulate the behaviour of supporters, sporting entities and clubs, indicating in detail the rules they were expected to follow.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
