Abstract
The paper describes the procedure used to derive from subsequent images of a dye cloud the 2D flow field, accounting for mass continuity. The methods combines image classification tools in colour space, with velocity field best fit satifying mass balance condition, indirectly represented by the stream function, obtaining from a video image sequence the quantitative description of the under laying velocity field.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
