The aim of this paper is to schematize a basic typology of poetry anthologies and to verify their alteration in recent times. The so-called canon refers to the idea of an artificial construction which tends to turn critical discourse into an institutional power. This analysis underlines the extrinsic institutional supports that constitute the background of the anthologies. In conclusion, in contemporary Italian poetry panorama, the anthology emerges as a self-concealing literary form.
Considerate le introduzioni ad alcune antologie di poesia italiana contemporanea, si è schematizzato una tipologia di base della costruzione antologica per verificare i suoi mutamenti nei tempi più recenti. Emerge come il concetto di canone diventi quella costruzione artificiale che eleva il discorso critico a forma del potere istituzionale; cedendogli spazio e prerogative nella propria costruzione, l’antologia diventa una forma che nasconde se stessa.
