Abstract

Three indices of risk (DR, RR, OR) are revisited in a fuzzy-like view, considering the possibility of intermediate situations of exposure and affection. The sample distribution of the resulting indices is studied by simulation, a generalization to complete scales of exposure and affection is proposed. Finally, an application to the effect of physical activity on perceived health status is presented.
