This paper focuses on the use of ePortfolios as innovative tools to support lifelong learning and employability, analyzing their pros and cons based on the international literature and outlining the assumptions underlying an ePortfolio system for professional and personal development designed within a research project involving university students and adults who are already employed or looking for work.
