Abstract

The canvas, named "Judith Beheading Holofernes”, was discovered in a sealed-off part of the attic space, which had to be accessed in order to repair a water leak, in 2014. This evidence of probable multinodular goiter (MNG) [2], may be the result of any chronic low-grade, intermittent stimulus to thyroid hyperplasia; the size represented in the canvas, attribute this case of MNG to the 2nd stage of the WHO classification.
