The document is a proposal of revision of the seat belt anchorage testing procedure included into all the ROPS codes. Occupant restraints are considered as part of the ROPS system because an overturn with a ROPS equipped tractor might still be fatal if the tractor operator is thrown outside the clearance zone that the ROPS provides. The revision of the testing procedure deals with the deletion of the performance of the belt buckle, as component of the seat belt and therefore not considered in the tests, and the longitudinal adjusment of the seat during the tests, in order to carry out the test in the worst case of longitudinal adjustment of the seat.

Abstract
The document is a proposal of revision of the seat belt anchorage testing procedure included into all the ROPS codes. Occupant restraints are considered as part of the ROPS system because an overturn with a ROPS equipped tractor might still be fatal if the tractor operator is thrown outside the clearance zone that the ROPS provides. The revision of the testing procedure deals with the deletion of the performance of the belt buckle, as component of the seat belt and therefore not considered in the tests, and the longitudinal adjusment of the seat during the tests, in order to carry out the test in the worst case of longitudinal adjustment of the seat.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
