The research conducted so far has emphasized the important role held by the relationship adolescents have with their parents in the development of their self-concept clarity. This study, conducted on a sample of 4350 adolescents and young people aged 11 to 30 years, aims to understand the role played by differential attachment bond with his mother and his father. This is reached by: analysing the role played by the different attachment bond the adolescent holds with his/her mother and father; identifying which dimensions of the relationship are most relevant to the definition of a stable self-concept; objectifying the development both of the relationship and the self-concept clarity in adolescents students, young workers and university students. The obtained results demonstrate the positive impact that a secure attachment to parents (father and mother) has on the participants concerning their self-concept clarity; more precisely, a secure attachment to same sex parent corresponds to an augmented self-concept clarity.

Abstract
The obtained results demonstrate the positive impact that a secure attachment to parents (father and mother) has on the participants concerning their self-concept clarity; more precisely, a secure attachment to same sex parent corresponds to an augmented self-concept clarity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
