This work presents an application of a new method for changepoint detection on spatio-temporal point process data. We summarise the methodology, based on building a Bayesian hierarchi-cal model for the data and priors on the number and positions of the changepoints, and introduce two approaches to taking decisions on the acceptance of potential changepoints. We present the dataset collecting Italian seismic events over 30 years and show results for multiple changepoint detection. Finally, concluding comments and suggestions for further work are provided.

Abstract
This work presents an application of a new method for changepoint detection on spatio-temporal point process data. We summarise the methodology, based on building a Bayesian hierarchi-cal model for the data and priors on the number and positions of the changepoints, and introduce two approaches to taking decisions on the acceptance of potential changepoints. We present the dataset collecting Italian seismic events over 30 years and show results for multiple changepoint detection. Finally, concluding comments and suggestions for further work are provided.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
