Abstract
The author's biographical ego avoids emerging in the foregroud as narrator or narrative topic, yet it infiltrates the writing through the interposed identity og "the one who's writing" that, on the contrary, gives herself unlimitedly to words as the doesn't exist but inside then."The one who's writing" expression does not imply an actual identity. On the one hand, it is about the metaphor of the writing process, whilw on the other, "the one who's writing" is, compared to the author's biographical ego, a vital part thereof and not inclusive, manifesting herself in the act of writing. In order not to be expressed (petrified) throught her, Elfriede Jelinek systematically eliminates any authorial comment; she hides her stregh in admission of faillure and self-inflicted injuries; she defers the lyrical reflection of her own gaze transmuting everyting into writing to the one who's writing.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
