On the sidelines, the principle of autonomy and responsibility in the development of therapeutic choices, it is exactly the economic aspect which, as a result of the global crisis that is featuring the twenty-first century, affects the provision of healthcare services, conditioned by population protection requirements and the need to maintain balanced budgets.
